This notice applies to the AetherPSX website only. It does not describe data handling in the AetherPSX app; separate information will be provided before the app is distributed.
Controller and contact
The website is published by JG Studio in France. For questions or requests about your data, email aetherpsx@gmail.com.
Information handled
- When the site is loaded, Cloudflare Pages may process technical request metadata needed to deliver, maintain and secure the site (for example, the IP address, requested URL and browser information).
- If you choose a language, the site remembers that preference in your browser’s local storage under “aetherpsx.locale”. The site does not configure advertising trackers or audience analytics.
- JSON or CSV files imported on the Compatibility page are read and processed in your browser. The site does not upload or retain them.
- If you contact JG Studio by email, the message and your email address are used to reply and follow up on your request.
Purposes and legal bases
Technical information is used to deliver the site and help protect it. The language preference stores a choice you made. Contact details received by email are used to handle your request. These uses are limited to those purposes.
Recipients and third-party services
Browsing data needed for hosting is processed by Cloudflare, Inc. The Gmail mailbox used for contact is provided by Google. Links to Instagram and TikTok open those services; their own policies apply when you visit them.
Cloudflare may process data in different countries. See its privacy information and data processing addendum for the applicable transfers and safeguards.
Cookies and browser storage
AetherPSX does not use advertising cookies or audience trackers. The language preference remains in local storage until you clear it in your browser settings. Cloudflare may use technical cookies needed for network security or operation, depending on the protections enabled.
Retention
The site does not retain imported files. The language preference stays on your device until you clear it. Emails are kept only as long as needed to respond to and follow up on the request, then deleted unless a legal obligation or the defense of legal claims requires retention. Cloudflare’s own retention rules apply to technical data it processes.
Your rights
Depending on the rules applicable to your request, you may ask to access, correct, erase or restrict your data, object to certain processing, and request portability where applicable. To exercise your rights, contact JG Studio at the address above. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, CNIL.
